Danielle Anspach : Master Hair Stylist
A native of the Wood River Valley, Danielle has always had a passion for the arts. Years of dance, making jewelry, and musical exploration has given her a great style. A style she brings to her everyday life, and to everyone of her clients. Her introduction to hair started as a receptionist at a well respected salon in Ketchum, Idaho. It sparked a fire in her heart, and she found her calling. Her drive to become a great hairstylist has lead her to become educated from the best in the industry. Learning cutting techniques from Ted Gibson, color from Jay Olson, and updo styling from Heather Chapman. If she is not at the hair salon, you can find her cuddled up with her husband Keith and her three dogs, or tending to her chickens and her urban farm.
I didn’t always know I wanted to be a hairstylist, it just happened. I was finishing up my prerequisites for bio-chem with an art minor. (I know, they don’t really go together and I really had no idea how I would make them either.) I was accepted in to the bio-chem program and at the last minute decided I didn’t want to be cooped up in a lab so backed out and applied to a couple of art schools. I was accepted into art school around the same time I met a hairstylist and salon and day spa owner. Over the course of a year we became good friends, saw what he did with hair and looked at it as a medium for art. I realized that is what I wanted to do and signed up for cosmetology school. After hair school I went through an apprenticeship for 12 months at a high end salon in Phoenix. I am internationally trained, learned Vidal Sassoon cutting by some of the top educators, was a Bumble and bumble session stylist in Phoenix, trained with L’oreal Professionnel color educators currently use L’oreal Professionnel color (among others), was an updo and styling educator at a high end salon, and much more. I have been on several Arizona news channels many times doing makeovers and educating viewers on hair care. I have styled hair for NYFW, session and styling for editorial and runway, cut and colored high profile clients, celebrities and athletes and am looking forward to many more of these opportunities.
Georgia Gelder : Master Hair Stylist
Georgia showed a single minded focus for the arts starting at a young age. At sixteen she began apprenticing at a salon where she turned her love for paints into a love for coloring hair. She has trained in New York and LA but her love for the outdoors brought her to Boise, where she worked as a Master Stylist at Lunatic Fringe for six years. She has worked editorially styling everything from outdoor clothing shoots at the banks of the river to helping paint horses pink in the desert for fashion shoots. Outside of the salon Georgia loves to be working and traveling alongside her boyfriend who is an outdoor cinematographer.
